iOS 9.2 was released just a couple of days ago and it brought numerous bug fixes and improvements. Even so, upgrading can always cause problems and if such is your case you might want to revert to iOS and stay there for a while longer.
For most people, the latest update was an improvement, so we don’t generally recommend you perform this downgrade unless you’re actually experiencing some sort of problems.
You can downgrade but the offer won’t be available forever – it’s possible only while Apple is still signing the previous iOS version, which may take between a few days and a couple of weeks. I recommend you decide quickly as to not miss the short window of opportunity.
I’ll explain below the steps you need to go through in order to get your device from iOS 9.2 to iOS 9.1.
As usual, before doing these kinds of things, we recommend you first backup the content of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, please don’t take this as an optional step. It’s definitely mandatory unless you want to lose your personal data like apps, messages, photos and so on.
